About Robert

Wendy graduated from Ferris State University, and immediately began her lengthy professional career as a corporate paralegal working for several companies in West Michigan, before leaving the workforce to be present for her family.

She has been participating in a board capacity for many years, but most recently as the board chair of the Grand Rapids Red Project, and as trustee for the Gerber Foundation. Her interest in RIL grew naturally from engagement with the organization during fundraising events.

RIL‘s enthusiasm for and dedication to their mission was palpable at every event, and the devotion to meeting their participants where they are at closed the deal for her interest in volunteering with the organization.
