About Jason

Raised on the southeast side of Grand Rapids, MI during the 1990s and early 2000s, Jason grew up navigating the challenges of poverty and the survival mindset that often grips underserved neighborhoods. Caught in the “crab in a barrel” mentality, his early years were shaped by struggle and street life.

After spending his entire twenties incarcerated, Jason made a powerful decision to live with purpose—committing himself to uplifting the very communities where he once caused harm. With a firm belief that limited vision and lack of information hold people back, he now serves as a mentor, using his story to shift perspectives and expand possibilities for underprivileged youth.

Jason is passionate about restoring hope and guiding the next generation toward a future beyond survival.
