About Christine

With a Bachelor’s Degree in the Science of Education and a Master’s Degree in the Art of Teaching, Christine spent the early part of her professional career teaching in middle and high-school classrooms for students with learning disabilities and behavioral disorders.

Since moving to Grand Rapids in the late ‘90’s she has been a full-time parent, community activist, board member, fund-raiser and non-profit management consultant for several organizations including the Midtown Neighborhood Association, the Fulton Street Farmers Market, the West Michigan Environmental Action Council and Uptown Grand Rapids Inc.

Now in her fourth year on the board of Realism Is Loyalty, Christine serves as the board secretary as well as doing most of the grant writing and reporting for the organization.
