About Antoinette

A Grand Rapids native, Antoinette is a Licensed Professional Counselor, serving as Realism Is Loyalty’s lead mental health clinician. She is also the owner of Life Changing Counseling and Consulting. Antoinette holds a Master’s degree in Counseling with a specialization in substance use from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary.

Driven by a deep passion for helping youth and families heal from past trauma and generational cycles, Antoinette combines personal lived experience with professional insight. Her work within Kent County’s 17th Circuit Court – Family Division has shaped her commitment to advocacy, ensuring the best interests of youth and families remain front and center.

Antoinette is a powerful voice for systemic reform, actively engaged in addressing social justice issues such as juvenile justice, community violence, and healthcare disparities. She is especially focused on breaking the stigma surrounding mental health treatment in underserved communities.
